Merry Christmas!

I hope everyone had an amazing Christmas! We sure did, although Michell and I only got about 2 hours of sleep. We're having another party in a bit, and I will post images from both the Christmas Eve and Christmas Day party soon...when I have the strength.

Updated Editorial Section

Because I know that all of you were waiting with baited breath, I updated my Editorial section this weekend. You will now be able to find all of my published editorial work from the past year or so in one neatly wrapped package (read: the Editorial section). Although I don't have a byline on these pieces (mental note: must speak to Danielle @ CBB about this), I wrote all of the celeb interviews as well as shot the images.

Elexis Part Dos

Here are some new newborn images! Baby Daeja did not want to sleep, much to mommy Elexis' chagrin. Daeja was equally non-plussed about us laying her down on her father's NYPD hat. She finally fell asleep, for about 2.5 seconds, and I was able to get this shot:



I don't know about you guys, but you can just smell that delicious newborn baby smell from the portrait, no?

Lisa Williams.

Most days are awesome, some are great, and then you get those that RAWK! Well, today was one of those days. I went into the city with my gay husband Dougie (his words, not mine), to interview and shoot Lisa Williams! I have been looking forward to this interview/shoot for weeks.

For the two people on earth who do not know who Lisa Williams is, she has a show on Lifetime called Lisa Williams: Life Among the Dead. Lisa is a medium and clairvoyant, and she's absolutely brilliant. Brilliant.

And she's gorgeous, to boot.

So we had the shoot today at a hotel in the city. It went really well and we got the most amazing shots. The interview went really well, and I have to say, Lisa and her husband Kev are two of the most delightful people I've ever met. Their energy is palpable, and they are just a wonderful couple. Their son, Charlie, is adorable and funny, as most eight year-old boys are.

We wrapped really early, and I was able to pick the kids up from school. This made me so happy since Michell dropped them off this morning, and I missed our little morning routine.
