since I last updated my photography blog. Lest you think I'm just lazing about, let me redirect you to Celebrity Parents Magazine (www.celebrityparentsmag.com). Celebrity Parents has just gone weekly, due to the amazing response from fans, reps and celebs alike! Yes, the schedule is grueling, but I love it. :)
And everything else is awesome, too. Hubby is fan-freakin'-tastic, the kids are great, happy in school. The doggies are adorable and we're getting ready for our big Halloween party. We just went to the pumpkin farm, as we do each year. It was tons of fun! Gabriel picked a 30 lb. pumpkin. That's going to be a ******* to clean out, I know.
Here's a photo of us from the pumpkin farm!

Holy Interview, Batman! I was interviewed AGAIN, the second time in two weeks! Yeah! This time, it's for an op-ed piece for The New York Post. It was a fun interview, and Lenore, the writer, was a lot of fun. Although since it's op-ed, I'm excited to see what the reactions will be to what I said.
It's supposed to run next week. I'll let you guys know when it's published and link you to it and all that good stuff. If another week is too long to wait, scroll down to listen to my interview below with Power Women Magazine Radio Show!

I was recently interviewed by Power Women Magazine Radio Show. It was so much fun! Deb Bailey, who owns Power Women Magazine, and I became friends and she invited me on the show. We chatted about everything from how I founded Celebrity Parents to fall fashion trends (woo hoo, the 80's are back!). Click on the image below to hear the interview!

We had a BBQ / Baby Shower at our house yesterday for Michell's niece, Angie. Everyone was having a great time, and Angie asked if I could take "a couple of photos" of her belly, since she is due soon. With twin boys. She's naming them Adriel and Ishmael. I've already decided that I'm going to call them Addy and Ishy. Ishmael reminds me too much of Moby Dick ("Call me Ishamel." One of the most famous first lines in American literature. The whole meaning of what black and white truly signifies...)
But I digress.
So everyone stayed outside while I shot Angie's portraits. My sis-in-law Cristina helped style Angie and I shot over 400 frames. There are so many I love, but this one is the one that Angie and I totally adore.

Check out the newest issue of Celebrity Parents Magazine at www.celebrityparentsmag.com. Our latest cover features the extraordinary children's singer/songwriter Laurie Berkner. It was an amazing photo shoot almost two years in the making! (Yes, I am very determined, but Laurie was well worth the wait!) We shot at Laurie's apartment, and Laurie was wonderful. Our interview was so touching, so brutually honest.
The cherry on top was when I asked Laurie to say hi to my kids on camera (they love Laurie, and I couldn't take them out of school; they were sooo bummed.) Laurie spoke to them for a minute, and then said, "Which of my songs do Gabriel and Elizabeth like?" Without a beat, I said, "Elizabeth likes Victor Vito, and Gabriel likes Magic Box." Well, Laurie tuned her guitar and began singing (with me accompanying her, sadly). We belted out Victor Vito, but when Laurie began to sing Magic Box, I started to tear up. I couldn't help it; her voice was so lovely, and she was singing to my children. I had one of those "I can't believe how lucky I am" moments. The kids watched the video when I got home and loved it.
This is just an amazing ride. Amazing. :)

I'm preparing for my shoot with Fox & Friends' Alisyn Camerota this Wednesday.
This is the second time I will be shooting Alisyn. The first time I shot her was when she was pregnant. We did the shoot with her twin daughters, and it was so cute. Can't wait to shoot again!
And if that weren't enough, I'm interviewing actor Peter Gallagher right after Alisyn's shoot! LOVE him!
