I have been shooting since I was ten years-old. When my fourth grade class went on an overnight camping trip, I was the only 10 year-old carrying four rolls of film for my pink 110 camera!
I have always adored photography. When I am shooting, it is the biggest rush. Whether it's a maternity shot, to the miraculous beauty of a newborn portrait, every shoot is meaningful and special to me. I give 100% of myself each and every time.
I have two amazing kids, Gabriel and Elizabeth. I know everyone thinks their children are the best, but mine truly are!!!! I live and breathe for them, and for my husband, Michell, as well. There is no greater joy than to be with your family, and witness those magical moments, when, for a moment, the world is perfect, and you have peace.
Then, inevitably, one child clocks the other one on the head with a toy, and the peace ends.
But at least you experienced peace for a moment, right?
I think being a mommy has only helped me to become a better photographer. Not only has mommyhood shown me how much patience I have (a LOT!), but it helps me to relate to relate to people with an understanding and compassion that is without limit.
This is what I bring to my photography. A lot of love, dedication, understanding, and desire to make your shoot the best it can possibly be. :)
